Taper: Matt Walsh, Mastered by Sim (Smores), rig: Zoom H1 w/internal mics. Smores comments: "These files were provided to me by the taper to work on. There are a couple of things I want to point out. First, the levels on the master files are pushed beyond the limits- in most tracks the .wav files looked like a stick of butter. With that said, the show is remarkably listenable for what the possibilities could have been. Also, the taper did pause the recorder breifly between songs as a way to track the show "on the fly". As a result some song transitions have been clipped."
Very nice setlist with "Dance in the Rain" played live for the first time! Quite boomy recording, windy, with some singers @ the taper, but close sounding. Megadeth tapes recorded in TX have always been rare to get so I'm thankful to Sim for finding and sharing this one and surely thanks to the taper!
