2012 Info. I received this from some guy Nick who said this was recorded by a friend of his and was never shared at all. He said it was Rochester when Megadeth opened for Dio. The setlist and Dave's utterances about "Rock chester" confirm it. However the (un)official Dio website (http://www.dio.net/tour/dream_evil.html) along with some other resources state that the show might take place @ Broome County Arena, Binghampton, NY, USA. Nick re-confirmed me that it was indeed War Memorial Auditorium in Rochester. The recording cuts in missing just a few sec of WUD. The rest of it sounds really nice considering the age of it and that it was recorded in a large venue. Dave presented the "new" band and urged the crowd to buy the "new" record which was due on January 19. Enormous thanks to Nick for this unsurfaced gem. Omg it took the recording 23.5 years to surface!
March 2026 UPD. I received just a slightly better sounding wav from Dave aka RockShowTrader, who claims to have received this from Jeff Young (megadeth guitar player). It does sound like it was taped by someone 'authorized' by the band. The description says 'room mics'. The crowd is out there, the sound is like it was taped not from SBD, but still there are no interaction from any other fans around.
